Our story

Aldivada Cosy Homes is a peaceful homestay in Awelo, Siaya County. Here, you get a chance to stay in one of four two-bedroom bungalows, each crowned with the name of a Luo bird, graceful and meaningful to the culture: Akuru, Aluru, Osogo and Awendo. The idea for Aldivada was inspired by a lifetime of travel across Kenya and experiencing different cultures in so many counties. It is a personal interpretation of what makes a place feel cosy, welcoming, relaxing and at ease.

Aldivada is a place where you can settle, exhale and enjoy a blend of modern comfort and the quiet of the countryside, while experiencing Siaya and its rich surroundings, including the shores of Lake Victoria.

Our invitation is a simple one: Feel the Serenity. A private home of your own on a gated compound, with space and quiet around it, and the birds the homes are named after often the first thing you hear in the morning. Somewhere to slow down and settle in, not only somewhere to sleep.
